Sometimes in life we have to put fresh wood in the furnace and reignite the flames. Simply put, we have to start over. It’s easy to lie down and quit but if you ever want to walk in your calling and in your destiny, you have to get up, dust yourself off and start over again.
Starting over is not easy because we know what failure feels like. Failure magnifies our weaknesses but imagine what you will miss if you don’t get over what you feel. One of my favorite quotes from Thomas Edison is, “I have not failed, I just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” And my father in law loves to quote this from Vince Lombardi, “Winners never quit and quitters never win.”
Start over…..It’s like riding a bike, you never forget how. It’s like roller skating, you might have to hold on to something or someone. You might even fall but if you keep getting back up and continue to move your feet, eventually, you’ll be skating on your own.
I want to encourage you to never quit, never give up on your dreams. You’ve fought to get this far so pick up the pieces and start over again.
