A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. (Proverbs 18:16) I’ve quoted this scripture many times and I love what it means for my life. But the one thing I’ve learned is that if you never open the bows and pretty wrapping paper, the gift remains unused, stays hidden, becomes dusty and eventually is thrown in the trash. Inside of these beautiful boxes are your unused, unwrapped Gifts.
Your Gift….It’s undiscovered, unknown and it sits in a pretty box….your Gift will never make room for you unless you take it out of the box, discover what it is and Use It! You’ve oohed and aahhed, oohing and aahhing over everyone else’s beautiful gifts…..It’s time to Take off the pretty paper, unwrap the gift and use it or the doors that are waiting for you, will never be opened to you. What makes your heart beat? What makes your belly quiver? What literally takes your breath away? What brings you Peace? Unwrap it, Discover it, Use Your Gift!
